Lee's commercial art is known for his use of iconic Americana imagery which frequently evokes the wild west and is equally reminiscent of '60s psychedelic rock posters which were stapled to telephone poles and bulletin boards in and around San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury and Fillmore districts.

Iconic and bold visuals are melded with brand-specific and unique fonts to create strong connections with the customer base. Lee's style is equally suitable for brick and mortar signage, window displays, murals, drum heads, business cards, and posters. Lee's work has been used to advertise and promote businesses as diverse as rock n' roll shows, record stores, night clubs, and a juice bar, primarily in Santa Cruz, California.
